Tell Us Once is a government run service that lets you report a death to most government organisations in one go. It does not notify private companies such as banks, building societies, or household bills. Normally the registrar will give you a code to use online when you register the death. There is no cost.

Life Ledger
Life Ledger is a free to use service for reporting a death to over 1000 private companies such as banks, financial institutions, energy and water suppliers, mobile phone companies and much more. It is also free to use.
To register, please click the button to the right. You will need details of the deceased and a copy of the death certificate in order to make notifications.
