Selecting the Funeral

At Ginder Funeral Service, we pride ourselves on our ability to maintain individuality. We still believe what we were all taught in our training, that each funeral is different because each family we deal with is different.

Although many people will say, "What is normal?" or "what do most people have?" we always try to give you the choice.

We will at every stage of the arrangements' give you any help and advice you may need in making your decisions.

Cost is very important when making a choice. Do not think that because Mrs. X along the road had five limousines that you should also have the same.

Likewise do not be put off from having a Horse Drawn Hearse because no one else in the street has had one.

The funeral should be as you and your family want, we are here to carry out your wishes.

We will keep you aware of all the costs as the arrangements progress and a full written estimate will be given to you upon completion of arrangements.

We are always receiving information and details on alternatives and therefore it is advisable to mention anything however bizarre you may think the request is to us.

We, as a company, enjoy the opportunity of fulfilling your wishes rising to any challenge and overcoming any difficulty.

The Cost and Payment of Account

One of the main fears people face when having to make funeral arrangements is "How much is it going to cost? "and "How can we afford it?"

The problems can weigh heavy on someone's mind, especially in cases where the death is sudden or unexpected, or that of a younger person when provision for funeral expenses have not yet been made.

As with every part of the Funeral we are here to help. It is not in our interest to offer, sell or provide, anything which may be beyond anyone's financial limits.

We will advise you throughout the proceedings of all the relevant costs. We will assist in fulfilling your wishes in line with the funds available. Our promise is to provide a fair service for a fair price, which conforms to the code of practice of the National Association of Funeral Directors.

Our own policy is not to ask for payment of our charges until the arrangements have come to a satisfactory conclusion, although you will have to produce sufficient funds to cover all disbursements prior to the funeral. This payment conforms to National Policy and procedure.

Many of our clients knowing of our reputation are happy to take advantage of our pre-payment discount. Details on request.

In all cases, we cannot help unless your wishes are made known to us.
