| Disposal of Cremated Remains
Many people will at sometime in their lives pass a comment about their wishes after death. Others will have this stated clearly in a will. Strangely enough, although the choice is made between Burial or Cremation, very few choosing cremation will express their wishes regarding the cremated remains afterwards.
There are many different methods of disposal, which will be explained to you at the time of making arrangements.
The crematorium do require a signed instruction, this does not mean you have to make a final decision at the time of arranging. You may select to have the remains held at the crematorium pending your decision. There is usually a fee payable for this.
Alternatively, you may prefer to take more time in making your final choice. In this case we will collect the remains from the crematorium and hold them at our premises for an unrestricted time until you are ready to make the final choice.
There is a nominal charge for this service and we will contact you periodically to check on your further instructions. |

Home and Garden Memorial for Cremated Remains
One of the most common wishes made by someone when talking about their own funeral is for the ashes to be placed in their own garden. Their loved ones will say they want to keep them at home, "In a jar on the mantelpiece" or "In a box under the stairs" often the subject of a good laugh whenever there is a family get together.
Unfortunately when the subject becomes a reality the ideas have been dropped due to it being both impractical and unsuitable for the normal house or garden.
We, at Ginder Funeral Service, have been concerned for some time about the lack of alternatives available to enable families to carry out their wishes.
We are pleased to now be able to offer just such a range of memorial vessels and containers. They have been selected to be tasteful, unnoticeable to the unknowing and practical so that should you move house, the memorial can also be moved with little fuss or disturbance.
Please ask to see a full range of our Home and Garden Memorials.
A wide selection of Memorials can be viewed at our Memorial Showroom located at 42 Vicarage Road Watford.
